Bengaluru, Feb 5: The CCB served a notice to the close aid of BJP state president BS Yeddyurappa to attend the enquiry related to an attempt to kidnap Vinay, personal assistant of another BJP MLA, sources said.

It is said that the CCB officials have issued notice to Santosh, the close aid of Yeddyurappa, to attend the enquiry as soon as he received the notice. As the main accused in Vinay’s attempt to kidnap case, Santosh appeared before the Mahalakshmi Layout police station for enquiry after getting the bail.

Now, the case was handed over to the CCB, Vinay had appeared before the CCB police and given his statements. Close on the heels of this development, the police served notice to Santosh. The accused attempted to kidnap Vinay Kumar on May 11, 2017 and a case was registered at Mahalakshmi Layout police station.
