Bengaluru: The health officers of the Bruhat Bengaluru Mahanagara Palike (BBMP) conducted an inspection on Friday on the pubs, bars and restaurants in the eight zones of the BBMP and issued notices to outlets that had failed to follow regulations of the city corporation.
In addition, the outlets that had violated the licence norms and regulations of the BBMP were ordered to be closed right away.
The BBMP has said in a press release that, while 1,118 business houses within its administration limits have been issued licence, the team of BBMP officers inspected 232 outlets on Friday. The owners of as many as 86 outlets were issued notices for failing to follow regulations. The BBMP also mentioned that 12 outlets were ordered for closure during the round of inspection.
