Beheaded body of 24-year-old youngster found in forest area in Belagavi
Belagavi: In an incident reported from Bastawada village of Raibag taluk here a dead body was found in the beheaded state on Friday afternoon here.
The police suspect that he was stabbed to death with a sharp weapon and the murdered youth has been identified as Akbar Shabbira Jamadar (21), a resident of Harugeri.

The police have detained a youth named Mahantesh Somalinga (24) in connection with the incident and are interrogating him.
The dead body was seen and reported by locals who went into the forest and brought it to the notice of local police.

Air India flight makes emergency landing after engine shuts off midair
Bengaluru, Jan 7: A Delhi bound Air India flight made an emergency landing after one of its engines shuts off midair, sources in the airport said on Tuesday.
According to sources, the flight 2820 took off on Sunday evening at about 7 pm from the Kempegowda International Airport in Bengaluru.
It returned an hour later after circling over Bengaluru city for some time, the sources added.
"It happened day before yesterday. We don't have the technical details but the flight made an emergency landing," another source told PTI.
He also said that no untoward incident happened and all the passengers were safe.
