Bengaluru: A viral video from the city’s Vidyaranyapura area has triggered sharp criticism on social media after a child, seen standing through the sunroof of a moving red SUV, hit a traffic barrier.
The clip, posted by the Instagram handle @nammabengaluroo, shows the SUV driving along a busy road with the boy enjoying the view from the sunroof. Moments later, the child’s head struck a half-height traffic barrier as the vehicle passed. Despite the impact, the car did not stop and continued driving.

It is unclear whether the boy sustained any injuries. Netizens, however, slammed the act as “irresponsible parenting,” warning against such reckless behavior. The text on the video read: “Never keep your kids out of sunroof. It’s a life hazard. Parents are responsible for keeping their children safe and not endangering them for cheap thrills.”

Dhaka (PTI): Tarique Rahman was sworn in as the new Prime Minister of Bangladesh on Tuesday, days after leading his party to a forceful victory in the crucial general elections.
President Mohammed Shahabuddin administered the oath of office to 60-year-old Rahman at the South Plaza of the Jatiya Sangsad instead of Bangabhaban, in a departure from a long-standing tradition.
Earlier in the day, Rahman was elected as leader of the parliamentary party by the Bangladesh Nationalist Party lawmakers.
Rahman's BNP has bagged 209 out of 297 seats, while right-wing Jamaat-e-Islami secured 68 seats in the 13th Parliamentary elections. Deposed premier Sheikh Hasina's Awami League was barred from contesting polls.
