Bengaluru: Whitefield DCP Abdul Ahad transferred as SP of Anti-Corruption Bureau
Bengaluru: Deputy Commissioner of Police, Bengaluru Whitefield Division, Abdul Ahad Puthige was on Saturday transferred as the Superintendent of Police in Anti-Corruption Bureau, Bengaluru city.
Abdul Ahad was posted as the DCP of Whitefield Division in the city since August 2017.
Hailing from Moodbidri in Dakshina Kannada District, Abdul Ahad has earlier served as the Dy.SP in Lokayukta, SP in Lokayukta, SP in CID’s Economic Offence Wing and Bengaluru Rural District’s Additional SP before being posted as the DCP of Whitefield.

Israeli defence minister says attacks against Iran will 'increase significantly' next week
Dubai (AP): Israeli Defence Minister Israel Katz said that attacks against Iran will “increase significantly” in the coming week.
Katz spoke on Saturday, hours after US President Donald Trump said he was considering “winding down” military operations in the Mideast.
“This week, the intensity of the attacks that the IDF and the US military will carry out against the Iranian terrorist regime and against the infrastructures on which it relies will increase significantly,” Katz said in a video statement.
