Bidar: 15-year-old girl dies by suicide after being advised to limit mobile use
Bidar: A 15-year-old girl, Soni, of Kamalnagar taluk, is reported to have committed suicide on Wednesday by hanging herself, allegedly upset over being advised not to use her mobile phone excessively.
Soni, who was a Class 10 student, and the daughter of Santosh, a resident of Diggi village in Kamalnagar taluk, was told by her father not to use her mobile phone too much. It is learnt that the girl, who was flustered by this, hanged herself to death.
A case has been registered at the Kamalnagar Police Station regarding this incident. Investigation is underway.

Illegally stored gas cylinders seized
Thane (PTI): Authorities have seized illegally stored 1,839 gas cylinders and seven vehicles worth over Rs 67 lakh in the Dombivli MIDC area of Thane district, officials said on Saturday.
A special vigilance team of the Mumbai Rationing Department detected an illegal storage of domestic and commercial LPG cylinders in Phase-2 of Dombivli (East).
Cylinders belonging to multiple gas agencies were found stockpiled in closed vehicles, unauthorised warehouses, and open sheds without mandatory permissions from the Explosives Department, Fire Department, or oil companies, according to an official release.
