Bengluru: Priyank Kharge, Karnataka Minister for Rural Development and Panchayat Raj, said on Friday that Tamil Nadu emerged as India’s main electronics exporter in the 2022-23 financial year while Karnataka under the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) was focusing on polarising narratives over the past four years.

He slammed the BJP on Twitter and stated that the party was preoccupied with rampant corruption and narratives like hijab, halaal while the neighbouring state exported electronics worth $5.37 billion and created lakhs of jobs. “We should have had the top spot considering our ecosystem. Time to reclaim this spot,” he added.

The Karnataka Minister also shared that he opposes the ideology and politics of the BJP because of the party’s lack of social and economic inclusivity and progressiveness.
