Bengaluru, September 20: “BJP is also aware that the coalition government in the state is safe and stable. But the BJP has been trying to create negative image among people on the coalition government”, KPCC working president Eshwar Khandre alleged.
Speaking to reporters at the KPCC office here on Thursday, Khandre said that for the last one month, the BJP leaders have been creating false propaganda that the coalition government would collapse and thus obstructing the programmes of a pro-people government. Not even a single MLA from Congress would go to BJP. But the BJP leaders have been luring the Congress MLAs and threatening them. People have been observing their anti-people attitudes carefully. In future, the people would definitely taught them a lesson, he warned.
No Congress MLA has gone to Maharashtra. In order to tarnish the image of the government, the BJP leaders have been spreading such rumours. He has also spoken to some of the MLAs. All MLAs were in their constituencies. Some others have gone for tours. But none of the Congress MLAs have gone with the BJP, he clarified.
“BJP national spokesperson Sambit Patra held a press conference and displayed the documents related to IT raids on the houses and offices of Minister D.K Shivakumar. He should clarify on how he got the documents of Income Tax Department and Enforcement Directorate which are the autonomous agencies of the country. IT department has conducted raids on Shivakumar due to political reasons and he would face it legally”.
- Eshwar Khandre, KPCC Working President
