Bengaluru: BJP MLA and Former Karnataka Minister Arvind Limbavali was on Monday booked in a suicide case agter a 47-year-old named Limbavali in his suicide note.
The BJP leader was booked by Kaggalipura Police along with six other accused in the case under section 306 (abetment of suicide)
Pradeep, 47, a resident of HSR Layout in the city, committed suicide in a car by shooting himself in the head on Sunday, near Nettigere village of Bangalore South taluk.
The names of the six people, including that of Limbavali, were mentioned in Pradeep's suicide note.
Kaggalipura Police, who registered a case and were investigating, have now filed a first information report against the MLA and five others.

Belthangady: Sujatha Bhat, mother of the missing Ananya Bhat, appeared at the office of the Special Investigation Team (SIT) here early Tuesday morning and for questioning regarding the disappearance case filed by Dharmasthala Police.
Bhat, who came to Belthangady in a car from Bengaluru at dawn on Tuesday, is learned to have arrived at the SIT office immediately. She is expected to be questioned in relation to the disappearance of Ananya.
Dharmasthala Police had filed an FIR after Bhat approached them on July 15 with a complaint that her daughter Ananya, who had been a medical student, had disappeared in Dharmasthala 22 years ago. The case was later handed over to the Special Investigation Team.
