BJP offered me ministerial berth and Rs 30 Cr: MLA Lakshmi Hebbalkar
Belagavi/ Bengaluru, September 28: In a shocking revelation, Congress MLA Lakshmi Hebbalkar alleged that the BJP has offered her a ministerial berth and a huge amount of Rs 30 crore if she joined that party.
Speaking to reporters at Belagavi on Friday, she said that “when I was in Hyderabad, a BJP women wing leader called me over phone and offered me the ministerial berth and the amount. After phone call, she also sent SMS to lure me. I have informed about the offer to then KPCC President Dr. G. Parameshwar and Siddaramaiah”, she clarified.
Already, many Congress MLAs have spoken about the Operation Lotus of the BJP and Operation Lotus was against the nature. So, she said she would not desert the Congress and join other party and rejected the offer, she said.

According to the reports, “the military has targeted Iran's security chief Ali Larijani,” adding that it was not immediately clear whether he was killed or injured.
There has been no official confirmation or response from Iranian authorities so far, Reuters reported.
