Bengaluru: The CCB Police on Tuesday arrested for people in connection with the threat letter that was written to a Judge of the Special Court for NDPS cases received a threat letter along with a detonator-like object through a post on Monday afternoon. The judge was hearing the Sandalwood Drugs Racket case.

The arrested accused have been identified as Rajshekhar, Vedanth, Shivprakash and Ramesh, all residents of Tumkuru district. The accused have been taken under custody and are being brought to Bengaluru for further enquiry.

On Monday, evening, the judge had received a letter threatening him that they will blow up his car with a bomb if he doesn’t grant bail to sandalwood actors Ragini Dwivedi and Sanjana Galrani and other accused of drug racket case.

The letter sender demanded that actresses Ragini Dwivedi and Sanjjanaa Galrani arrested in the Sandalwood drug case and “innocents” arrested in connection with the DJ Halli riots case be released immediately.
