Cabinet expansion by Oct 10: Dinesh Gundu Rao
Bengaluru, September 26: KPCC President Dinesh Gundu Rao said that “State Congress Incharge has said that the Cabinet would be expanded by October 10 and I am going to Delhi to participate in the Congress Executive meeting to be held on October 2”.
Speaking to reporters here on Wednesday, he said that Legislative Council by-poll would be held on October 4. There leaders in the Congress who believe astrology during pitru paksha. After that, a suitable time would be fixed for expansion, he said.
The MLAs have expressed their problems in the meeting and some suggestions were given to them. No one was disappointed. All the MLAs were directed not to given open statements before media. Action would be taken against the MLAs who give statement against the party, he said.
Normally, only the party leaders know about the discussions. It was not possible to answer for any imaginations. There was no disappointment in the party, he clarified.

Minor brother-sister duo die after falling into well in Maharashtra's Latur
Latur (PTI): A three-year-old boy and his elder sister died after falling into a well while playing near their house in Latur city of Maharashtra, police said on Friday.
The incident took place in Taleburhan area here on Thursday.
"Alina Sameer Shaikh (6) and her brother Usman, aged three, fell into a well while playing. The incident took place around 4 pm on April 10," inspector Sujit Rejitwad said.
When they fell into the well, their eight-year-old brother panicked and rushed home to inform his family members about it, he said.
The family members and their neighbours immediately rushed to the place and launched a rescue operation. They managed to retrieve the children's bodies using a rope tied to a tree after nearly one-and-a-half hours of efforts, he said.
The father of the deceased children is an ice cream vendor, the police said.
