Chikmagalur: An elderly beggar woman at Kudur has shocked the district by contributing 20,000 rupees in donations to the temple. 

The elderly beggar woman reportedly arrived at the Kudur Taluk Kote Paathala Anjaneya Swami Temple and searched for the president of the temple’s administrative committee and later handed over a donation 20,000 rupees to the Swamiji. 

Looking at the elderly woman in her old clothing, the folks at the temple assumed that she had come to beg and tried to send her away. However, she handed over 20,000 rupees donation and requested the administrative council that it be used to make a silver mask for the Anjaneya deity, thus shocking the onlookers present, it is learned.
