Chitradurga: Car collides with stationary truck, 4 died
Chitradurga: Four persons were killed on the spot when a car they were traveling in collided with a parked lorry at Javagondanahalli in Hiriyur taluk of Chitradurga.
The deceased have been identified as Saddam Hussain (22), Touseef Ahmad (24), Sharukh (20) and Saddam (21), all from Tamil Nadu.
According to police, the incident occurred when the car proceeding from Goa to Tamil Nadu hit a stationary lorry from rear side when its driver lost control over the vehicle. Four persons succumbed to injuries on the spot.

DHL cargo plane crashes in Lithuania
Vilnius (AP/PTI): A DHL cargo plane crashed Monday morning near the Lithuanian capital.
The Lithuanian airport authority identified the aircraft as a “DHL cargo plane flying from Leipzig, Germany, to Vilnius Airport.”
It posted on the social platform X that city services including a fire truck were on site.
DHL Group, headquartered in Bonn, Germany, did not immediately return a call for comment.
