Bengaluru,May 1: As Prime Minister Narendra Modi is set to land in Karnataka on Tuesday for campaigning, Chief Minister Siddaramaiah has a few questions for the prime minister.

Dear @narendramodi ಅವರೇ,

Heard you are visiting Namma Karnataka tomorrow. We welcome you to our state.

While you are here, we Kannadigas would like you to address the following concerns.

ದಯವಿಟ್ಟು #AnswerMaadiModi ಅವರೇ

— Siddaramaiah (@siddaramaiah) April 30, 2018 ">

In next tweet, Siddaramaiah asked Modi to clarify wheather Janardhan Reddy would campaign in support of B Sriramulu, the party candidate from Badami.

Scam-tainted Reddy has not been included in the BJP list, but will be campaigning for his “friend” Sirarmulu.

Speaking to reporters earlier, BS Yeddyurappa, the CM canidadte from BJP had said: “Janardhan Reddy has not been included in the electioneering list of the BJP. He is campaigning not for the party, but for his friend Sriramulu.”

Siddaramaiah then asked the prime minister if Yeddyurappa is still his party’s chief ministerial candidate, when he reportedly is unwilling to share a stage with the latter.

Hitting out at the series of advertisements that the BJP had taken out in newspapers promising action against rape accused in Karnataka, Siddaramaiah tweeted:

In UP’s Unnao rape case, BJP MLA Kuldeep Singh Sengar is an accused. Meanwhile in Kathua in Jammu and Kashmir, where an eight-year-old was raped and murdered, BJP leaders have been demanding a CBI probe, which is seen by many as a move to ‘shield the accused.’

Siddaramaiah, in his next tweet, criticised the shock demonetisation of November 2016, which left several people across the country in a limbo owing to cash-crunch. He also hit out at the prime minister for his ‘pakoda’ comment.

At the end of this tweet storm, Siddarmaiah asked one final question, criticising the NDA’s government’s farm relief package and the banking mess in the economy.

New Delhi (PTI): The Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) on Wednesday said Operation Sindoor was the beginning of justice for the Pahalgam terror strike victims.

Retaliating against the Pahalgam terror attack, Indian armed forces early Wednesday carried out missile strikes on nine terror targets in Pakistan and Pakistan-Occupied Kashmir, including the Jaish-e-Mohammad stronghold of Bahawalpur and Lashkar-e-Taiba's base in Muridke.

"Beginning of justicefor the victims of PahalgamBehining --'Operation Sindoor', Justice served. Nation supports," RSS national media and publicity department head Sunil Ambekar said in a post in X.

"Jai Hind. Long live mother India," he added.

The military strikes were conducted under Operation Sindoor two weeks after the Pahalgam attack that killed 26 civilians.

The nine targets struck under 'Operation Sindoor', four in Pakistan and five in Pakistan-Occupied-Kashmir, were chosen by the IAF after receiving intelligence inputs about terror camps operating under the guise of health centres to evade detection at these sites, officials said on Wednesday.
