CM Kumaraswamy Enquires About Siddaganga Seer's Health
Tumkur, Jan 4: Chief Minister HD Kumaraswamy on Friday called on Dr Shivakumar Swamiji of Siddaganga Mutt who is undergoing treatment, and enquired his health condition and wished for speedy recovery.
Speaking to reporters later, the Chief Minister said that the doctors have been working tirelessly for improving the health of the Swamiji. He would also thank the entire doctors team on behalf of the devotees, he said.
It was a surprising factor for the entire medical fraternity about the Swamiji responding to the treatment even at this old age. He would appeal the devotees not to visit the Swamiji keeping in mind about his health condition.
Even he also thought that his visit might affect the Swamiji. But he got the permission from the junior Swamiji and met the seer, the CM said.
"On my way to Dharwad All India Kannada Sahitya Sammelan, I have come here to enquire about his health and get his blessings. The Swamiji is fine and healthy. There's no worry about his health", he said.
Minister S.R. Srinivas, MLA G.B. Jyothi Ganesh, former minister Sogadu Shivanna, former MLA Ningappa were accompanying the Chief Minister.

Tehran/Doha: Iran’s President Massoud Pezeshkian has warned that attacks on the country’s energy infrastructure could lead to “uncontrollable consequences” affecting the entire world.
In a post on X, Pezeshkian said he “strongly condemns” the strikes that targeted the South Pars gasfield earlier in the day.
“Such aggressive actions will not achieve anything for the American Zionist enemy and their supporters. Rather, they will complicate the situation and could lead to uncontrollable consequences that will affect the entire world,” he said.
Meanwhile, Qatar’s Ministry of Interior has urged residents to remain indoors due to what it described as an elevated security threat.
Authorities have not provided further details, but the advisory comes amid growing concerns over the safety of energy infrastructure and civilian areas in the region.
