Bengaluru: In Bengaluru, DCM DK Shivakumar expressed optimism regarding the formation of the Government at the centre, citing a prevailing pro-INDIA alliance sentiment across the nation. Speaking to the media near his residence in Sadashiva Nagar, he emphasized the positive atmosphere and the alliance's potential to secure government formation.
Addressing concerns raised by the Maharashtra Chief Minister regarding Operation Kamala in Karnataka and the purported instability of the government, DK Shivakumar suggested that the situation could be reversed and that the government in Maharashtra might fall.
Regarding inquiries into the Prajwal Revanna sex scandal and the circulation of related audio-video material involving a woman victim, the DCM said that the same question must be asked to the Special Investigation Team (SIT), stating his lack of knowledge on the matter.
Moreover, DK Shivakumar requested activists and leaders via media to not celebrate his birthday this year as he is engaged in election campaigning in other states.

Gunmen attack building housing Israeli Consulate in Istanbul
Istanbul (AP): A gunfight erupted outside a building housing the Israeli Consulate in Istanbul on Tuesday, leaving two assailants dead and a police officer wounded, Turkiye's Haberturk broadcaster reported.
The report said attackers were carrying long-barreled weapons. An exchange of fire with police killed two, while a third assailant was captured. One officer sustained injuries during the clash.
The area surrounding the building was quickly sealed off.
