Cong-JD(S) Rebel MLAs hand over resignation to speaker's secretary, head towards Raj Bhavan
Bengaluru: More than eight MLAs of Cong-JD(s) coalition government on Saturday handed over their resignations from assembly to the secretary of speaker in the latter's absence.
The MLAs handed their resignations to speaker Ramesh Kumar's secretary Roopesh.
Ramesh Kumar had left from his office at Vidhana Soudha minutes before the MLAs arrived with their resignations. He was later spotted at Jaydev Hospital, where he reportedly visited his relative who is admitted in the hospital.

Israeli defence minister says attacks against Iran will 'increase significantly' next week
Dubai (AP): Israeli Defence Minister Israel Katz said that attacks against Iran will “increase significantly” in the coming week.
Katz spoke on Saturday, hours after US President Donald Trump said he was considering “winding down” military operations in the Mideast.
“This week, the intensity of the attacks that the IDF and the US military will carry out against the Iranian terrorist regime and against the infrastructures on which it relies will increase significantly,” Katz said in a video statement.
