Cong Prez Kharge, Rahul Gandhi arrive in Belagavi for party's youth convention 'Yuva Kranti'
Belagavi: Congress president Mallikarjun Kharge and leader Rahul Gandhi arrived in the city on Monday afternoon for the youth meet of the party.
KPCC President D K Shivakumar and Leader of the Opposition in the Karnataka Assembly Siddaramaiah welcomed Kharge and Rahul Gandhi when they landed at the Belagavi airport.
‘Yuva Kranti Samavesha’ is being organized by the Congress focusing on youngsters, and Rahul Gandhi is expected to address the convention.
AICC General Secretary K C Venugopal, Randeep Singh Surjewala, Leader of the Opposition in the Legislative Council B K Hariprasad, KPCC Campaign Committee President M B Patil and KPCC Working President Satish Jarkiholi were present on the occasion.

US–Iran first round direct talks conclude in Islamabad: Report

The first round of direct talks between the United States and Iran, held in Islamabad, has concluded, Al Jazeera reported citing sources close to the development.
According to the report, following the discussions, delegations from both sides agreed to exchange written documents, a move aimed at ensuring clarity and consensus on the understandings reached during the meeting.
Both the Iranian and US delegations arrived in Islamabad on Saturday, April 11, amid high security for the peace talks.
