Bengaluru, Feb 5: The Karnataka High Court has ordered to issue contempt of court notice to Hassan Deputy Commissioner Rohini Sindhuri and City Municipal Council Commissioner BA Parameshwarappa in related to a petition filed in the court saying that the officers have not followed the HC verdict on BM Road widening case in Hassan.

The Divisional Bench, comprising Justice Ravi Malimath and Justice BM Shyam Prasad, heard the contempt of court case filed by Sudha and R Rangaswamy of Hassan and ordered to serve notices to respondents.

The High Court on December 20, 2018, had ordered that Hassan Deputy Commissioner and the CMC Commissioner should personally hear the grievances related to eviction of buildings personally on January 27.

But both the deputy commissioner and the CMC commissioner have not followed the High Court direction and action should be taken against them under contempt of court case, they appealed the HC in their application.
