Court grants bail to HD Revanna in kidnapping case
Former minister HD Revanna, who was arrested in connection with the kidnapping case of a victim in Prajwal Revanna’s sex scandal has been granted bail by the Special Court of People's Representatives.
The bail petition filed by HD Revanna, the JDS MLA from Holenarasipur, was heard by Judge Gajanana Bhat. Following extensive arguments, the judge announced the decision to grant bail.
HD Revanna is expected to be released from Parappana Agrahara Jail today, upon receiving the bail order from the court.

Gunmen attack building housing Israeli Consulate in Istanbul
Istanbul (AP): A gunfight erupted outside a building housing the Israeli Consulate in Istanbul on Tuesday, leaving two assailants dead and a police officer wounded, Turkiye's Haberturk broadcaster reported.
The report said attackers were carrying long-barreled weapons. An exchange of fire with police killed two, while a third assailant was captured. One officer sustained injuries during the clash.
The area surrounding the building was quickly sealed off.
