Mysuru: Union Minister of State for Railways V. Somanna remarked that C.P. Yogeshwar has taken a hasty decision in Channapatna, and that the people there will sound a warning bell in the upcoming by-elections.
Speaking to the media on Tuesday, Somanna said, "It seems like Yogeshwar has made an impulsive decision. I am confident that NDA candidates will secure victory in the by-elections for all three constituencies."
Addressing the MUDA issue, Somanna noted that with the involvement of ED officials, the investigation will likely reach a logical conclusion, and all irregularities in MUDA will be cleared.
He also criticised Minister Byrathi Suresh for his remarks, reminding him of his position as a minister. Somanna added that Union Minister Shobha Karandlaje should not be spoken of disrespectfully, asserting that such comments are unbefitting of Suresh’s stature.
