Trasi (Kundapura), October 30: Chief Minister H.D Kumaraswamy said that the dream of BJP leaders that the Congress-JDS coalition government would collapse, would not come true.
Addressing the party workers at an election campaign in favour of Madhu Bangarappa at Trasi in Kundapur taluk on Tuesday, the CM said that “the people in coastal region are falling prey to Hindutva. Hindu and Muslim people should not invite conflicts among yourselves. We are following Hindutva ideologies better than BJP people. We are one step forward in following the Hindutva than BJP, which has been fighting the elections on emotional issues. BJP people are in an illusion that the coalition government would not last longer. But we have the blessings of the God who will decide my tenure as the CM”, Kumaraswamy said.
“I will not go home after by-election. Nothing will happen as Yeddyurappa expected. I will also come to homes of the poor and will discuss the issues. The exchequer of the state government is sound”, the CM said.

Kalaburagi (Karnataka), Nov 28: Kalaburagi Jail Chief Superintendent R Anitha on Thursday said that an unknown person sent an audio message via a police inspector claiming that they will blow up her car.
However, police said they have not received any complaints in this regard.
Speaking to reporters here, Anitha said, "Somebody has sent an audio message to the police inspector saying that they will blow up my car. I personally did not receive any such message so far, so I would not be lodging any police complaint."
Following the alleged threat, Anitha said she would be more cautious now.
Last month, after Anitha took charge as the Chief Superintendent of Jail, raids were conducted and searches were intensified after photographs and video clips purportedly showing three inmates getting special treatment in the Kalaburagi Central prison went viral on social media.
Following the raids, cell phones, gutka and cigarette packets and beedis were seized from the inmates.
