Shivamogga: In a heated exchange, KS Eshwarappa has launched a verbal attack on BJP state president B. Y. Vijayendra, stating that he will hunt down the father and son in Shikaripura.
Responding to Vijayendra's remarks in Shivamogga, Eshwarappa dismissed them, saying, "I don't value Vijayendra's foolish words. You are not fit to be the state president. I have dedicated forty years of hard work to the party, while you have become the state president due to your father's efforts. You are not qualified to speak in this manner."
Eshwarappa continued, "The people of the district know my contributions. In Shikaripura, the margin has decreased from 60,000 to 10,000. What have you done for the party? You are still inexperienced. Remember, you do not have the capability to criticize me. You are not permitted to speak as you please."
He challenged Vijayendra's disciplinary actions, stating, "Do whatever you want. I am not afraid of such threats. The people are with me.”
Eshwarappa also mentioned receiving positive feedback and expressed confidence in his standing, citing an encouraging encounter with a lawyer at the court.

Gumla (PTI): Three persons were arrested on Monday for allegedly raping two women at a village in Jharkhand’s Gumla district, police said.
All the three accused have been remanded to judicial custody, Gumla Sadar Police Station officer-in-charge, Mahendra Karmali, told PTI.
According to police, one of the women had been called to Gumla Sadar by her boyfriend on Sunday for an outing.
“She arrived at the spot accompanied by a female. The woman’s boyfriend then called a friend, and they took the two women to a secluded place in Sisai police station area in the evening, forcibly made them consume alcohol before raping them,” the officer said.
