Bengaluru, May 10: The first 'Oxygen Express' to Karnataka with six cryogenic containers a total of 120 tonnes left Jamshedpur on Monday.

The train is expected to reach Inland Container Depot, Container Corporation of India, Whitefield, here, on Tuesday, an official press release said.

Mangaluru: Fourteen Rama Sena activists, including their leader Prasad Attavar, have been remanded to two weeks of judicial custody following their involvement in the vandalism of Colors Unisex Salon near Bejai here on Thursday.

The activists reportedly stormed into the salon, alleging that immoral activities were taking place on the premises. They caused significant damage by breaking furniture, while also assaulting, insulting, and verbally abusing the staff before fleeing the scene.

Barke police arrested all 14 individuals, including Prasad Attavar. Following their arrest, the accused were presented before the court on Friday, and the court issued a judicial custody to the accused.
