Five killed, one injured in horrible road mishap in Tumkur
Tumkuru: In a tragic road accident five people died while one sustained severe injuries when a car collided with tractor on Thursday evening in Kunigal Taluk's Hosakere village here.
The deceased have been identified as car driver Kiran (28), Rajanna (50), Mohan (22), Madhu (24), and Rangaswamy (55).
According to the reports the deceased were returning after celebrating festival in Doddakallahalli near Hosakere village when the driver rammed the car into a tractor from behind which was parked beside the road.
The deceased victims reportedly belongs from Bengaluru, the authorities were busy ascertaining more details about the victims.
Local police reached the spot and have registered a case in this regard.

Mysterious blast outside house in J-K's Samba, no one injured
Jammu (PTI): A mysterious blast occurred in a village in the Samba district of Jammu and Kashmir early Monday, officials said.
The blast took place near the main gate of the residence of former sarpanch Jai Ram Sharma at Gawala Talab, some 10 km from the International Border in the Ghagwal sector around 2 am, the officials said.
They said the blast uprooted the gate and a portion of the boundary wall but caused no casualty.
A team of forensic experts visited the site and took samples from the scene to ascertain the cause of the explosion, they said.
Police have registered an FIR, the officials said, adding senior officers are on the scene and further investigation is on.
