Bengaluru: Former Karnataka Chief Minister Siddaramaiah on Tuesday came down hard on the social media users who abused Girish Karnad on social media after reports of his demise was made public on Monday morning.

Siddaramaiah compared the abusers to the murderers and said “Those who enjoy on someone’s death, they are like their killers”.

Social media users on Monday were seen criticizing the noted playwright, actor and Kannada writer after his demise so much so that the social media pages were full of comments of hatred and abuses against the Jnanpith Award winner writer.

Siddaramaiah further added that people get what they sow and urged people to strive towards humanity and harmony to spread love in the society.

Bengaluru: The Karnataka Examinations Authority has released the syllabus for the Common Entrance Test (CET) to be conducted in 2025 for admission to professional courses including engineering, on its website https://cetonline.karnataka.gov.in/kea/.

Executive Director of KEA, H. Prasanna on Saturday issued a notification, advising students to use the syllabus for Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, and Biology from both First and Second PUC as outlined on the portal.

"This syllabus has been prepared based on the NCRTC syllabus and the textbooks published by the School Education, PUE Department," the announcement read. Furthermore, H. Prasanna explained that it has also been reviewed by subject experts from PU colleges.
