Former Karnataka Home Minister Ramalinga Reddy confirms resignation reports
Bengaluru: Former Karnataka Home Minister and senior Congress leader Ramalinga Reddy on Saturday confirmed reports of resignation.
Speaking to media reporters outside Vidhana Soudha, Reddy confirmed that he has submitted his resignation, expressing dissent over the Congress-JD(s) coalition government in the state.
Reddy refused to answer the question asked by reporters if his daughter Soumya Reddy will also resign from the assembly, and urged the reporters to ask the question to her.

Israeli defence minister says attacks against Iran will 'increase significantly' next week
Dubai (AP): Israeli Defence Minister Israel Katz said that attacks against Iran will “increase significantly” in the coming week.
Katz spoke on Saturday, hours after US President Donald Trump said he was considering “winding down” military operations in the Mideast.
“This week, the intensity of the attacks that the IDF and the US military will carry out against the Iranian terrorist regime and against the infrastructures on which it relies will increase significantly,” Katz said in a video statement.
