Former Karnataka Minister Vinay Kulkarni's judicial custody extended for 14 days in murder case
Bengaluru: A CBI Special Court on Monday has remanded Congress leader and former Karnataka Minister Vinay Kulkarni to 14 more days of judicial custody in connection with the murder case of BJP Zilla Panchayath member Yogeeshgouda Goudar. Kulkarni has been sent to 14-day judicial custody till December 21.
Vinay Kulkarni was arrested by CBI Officials in November in connection with the murder and was presented before CBI Special Court which had sent him to judicial custody.
He was on Monday produced before the court again as his custody was set to expire on Monday. The Court, however, extended his custody for 14 more days till December 21.

Man dies after car falls into canal in Kerala
Kochi (PTI): A 28-year-old man died after the car in which he was travelling fell into a canal at Parackal Kadavu here on Sunday, officials said.
The deceased was identified as Anoop, a native of Thottakkad.
According to Fire and Rescue Services officials, two other occupants of the car were rescued by locals.
The incident occurred at around 4 pm when the car lost control while entering the compound of a toddy shop and plunged into the canal, officials said.
While bystanders managed to rescue the two others, the car with Anoop inside got completely submerged in the water.
A scuba diving team from the Kottayam Fire and Rescue Station later carried out an underwater operation and pulled out Anoop from the submerged vehicle.
He was rushed to a nearby hospital, where he was declared dead, officials said.
Police have registered a case and initiated an investigation into the incident.
