Hubballi: The car belonging to Film actress and former Minister Umashree met with an accident near Bandiwadi near Hubli Taluk on Friday night, resulting in two deaths.
Reportedly, Umashree was not in the car when the accident occurred. Smita Katti from Dharwad and another individual died in the accident, while three other individuals have been grievously injured.
The accident reportedly occurred when the driver was heading home after having dropped Umashree at her residence. The car belonging to Umashree was en-route to Hubballi via Gadag when another car coming from the opposite direction collided head-on into the vehicle causing fatal accident.
All of the casualties and injured were reportedly individuals traveling in the other car.
Hubballi Rural Police visited the site of the accident and a case has been registered in this regard.

Kohli has played 210 Test innings, amassing 9,230 runs at an impressive average of over 45. His tally includes 30 centuries and 31 fifties, cementing his legacy as of the finest Test cricketers the sport has seen.
