Four MLAs won because of Ramesh Jarkiholi: MP Prakash Hukkeri
Belagavi, Dec 30: Lok Sabha Member Prakash Hukkeri said that because of the efforts of then district minister Ramesh Jarkiholi, the Congress has won four MLAs seats in Chikkodi Lok Sabha constituency.
Presiding over a programme to distribute funds sanctioning letters at Yakshamba town in Chikkodi taluk on Sunday, Hukkeri said that “I also wanted to contest the Assembly elections from Kagwada constituency. But due to some other reasons, it was not possible. So, as an MP, I have brought more than Rs 400 crore for the development works, which gives me pleasure. If the party workers interested, I would contest in the Lok Sabha elections”, he said.
