Gandhiji's death anniversary: CM Kumaraswamy pays floral tribute
Bengaluru: Chief Minister HD Kumaraswamy and Deputy Chief Minister Dr. G. Parameshwar on Wednesday offered floral tributes to his portrait near Gandhi statue located on the premises of Vidhan Soudha.
The homage was paid to Gandhiji on his 71st death anniversary.
Other officials were also present during the occasion.

Shops to remain open till midnight during Ramadan in Mangaluru
Mangaluru: In a major relief for last-minute shoppers ahead of Ramadan, Mangaluru City Police Commissioner Sudheer Kumar Reddy on Thursday announced that shops have been granted permission to operate till 12 midnight.
He made the announcement while speaking to the media in the city.
“Many people had requested to keep shops open till midnight on Thursday. Accordingly, shops in the Mangaluru Police Commissionerate have been allowed to remain open till 12 midnight today (Thursday),” he said.
