High Court grants interim relief to ED officials in Valmiki Corporation investigation
Bengaluru: The High Court has provided relief to Enforcement Directorate (ED) officials accused of pressuring individuals to name the Chief Minister and former ministers during the investigation into the Valmiki Corporation scam.
A bench led by Justice M. Nagaprasanna heard the petition filed by ED Deputy Director Manoj Mittal and Assistant Director Murali Kannan. The officials sought the cancellation of an FIR registered against them at the Wilson Garden Police Station in Bengaluru.
The High Court granted an interim stay on the FIR, temporarily halting any legal proceedings against the ED officials.

Dr. U. T. Ifthikar Fareed inaugurates ‘Global Health Connect – 2026’ at MAHSA University in Malaysia
Kuala Lumpur: Dr. U. T. Ifthikar Fareed, Chairman of the Karnataka State Allied and Healthcare Council inaugurated the ‘Global Health Connect – 2026’ international conference on Global Healthcare and Medical Sciences on Friday, April 3 at the MAHSA University, Malaysia. The inauguration ceremony was also led by Prof. Tan Sri Datuk Dr. HJ. Mohamed Haniffa Bin HJ. Abdullah, Pro-Chancellor and Executive Chairman of MAHSA University.
