Bengaluru, June 20: Housing and Urban Development Minister UT Khader said that the housing scheme beneficiaries, who have financial problem to construct the houses, will get financial assistance from the cooperative banks.
Speaking to reporters after holding a meeting with the party workers at KPCC office here on Wednesday, he said that in Siddaramaiah-led Congress government, total 15 lakh houses were sanctioned to the beneficiaries. Out of which, 8.50 lakh houses were completed. But for the beneficiaries who are facing financial problem to construct the houses, the government has planned to get loans sanctioned from the cooperative banks, he said.
The first installment amount to be released by the government would directly be remitted to the cooperative banks. He would hold a meeting with the cooperative banks authorities shortly and take a decision, he said.
Hatred politics
The BJP-led NDA government at the centre has targeted the Congress leaders and indulging in hate politics by conducting raids through IT and CBI. If there is a mistake, let them take legal action. But the centre has been misusing the Constitutional institutions and making them weak.
