Hubballi: A man was washed away in a stormwater drain following heavy rainfall in the Belagali Road area under the jurisdiction of Kasaba Peth Police Station.

The missing person has been identified as Hussain Kalas, a resident of Beerabandi Oni.

According to reports, he lost control of his bike during the downpour and accidentally fell into the overflowing drain, after which he was swept away by the strong current.

Fire and emergency services, along with police personnel, are currently conducting a search operation at the site.
