Belagavi, June 7: Minister Ramesh Jarkiholi said that though in a democratic system, people want to have power, they should be ready to sacrifice it when the situation demands.

When his supporters received him at the Airport here on Thursday on his arrival for the first time after becoming the minister, Ramesh said that “Satish Jarkiholi was also the aspirant of ministerial berth. But I have got the chance. When I missed the chance last time,

I did not make any issue. If anybody is ready for compromise, I am ready to give up minister post for Sathish”, he said. Sathish is an experienced politician. He could not have differences.

His followers have protested. It is just a rumour that Sathish would tender his resignation to AICC secretary position, he said. On a question, Sathish is not a kid to convince him. He is matured in politics and he would understand the situation. The Congress is like an ocean. Party is more important than Sathish and Ramesh. Everything

will be sorted out within next one week, he said.
