Bagalkot: Former Karnataka Chief Minister and Leader of Opposition in Karnataka Assembly Siddaramaiah on Wednesday stated that he will be the next Chief Minister of the state and assured the residents of flood-hit regions that he will resolve all their issues.

After hearing to the pleas and requests of the flood victims Siddaramaiah added that he will resolve all their issues and help them rehabilitate their life after he becomes the CM again.

“Next time I will become Chief Minister of the state. All your problems will be resolved then” Siddaramaiah said.

Siddaramaiah also told the flood victims that he spoke in length about the flood in the state assembly and had spoken for about five hours but the government while replying only spoke for one minute.

Jammu (PTI): A mysterious blast occurred in a village in the Samba district of Jammu and Kashmir early Monday, officials said.

The blast took place near the main gate of the residence of former sarpanch Jai Ram Sharma at Gawala Talab, some 10 km from the International Border in the Ghagwal sector around 2 am, the officials said.

They said the blast uprooted the gate and a portion of the boundary wall but caused no casualty.

A team of forensic experts visited the site and took samples from the scene to ascertain the cause of the explosion, they said.

Police have registered an FIR, the officials said, adding senior officers are on the scene and further investigation is on.
