Bengaluru, September 20: Retaliating Chief Minister H.D Kumaraswamy, BJP State President B.S Yeddyurappa said that “You might have your government in the state. But we have our own government at the centre. Whatever you do, we know how to counter it. I won’t scare from your threats”.
Speaking to reporters at his residence at Dollars Colony in the city on Thursday, Yeddyurappa said that “I know my limitations as former Chief Minister. You are the person who speaks beyond your limitations. Better to control your Tongue. You are telling that Yeddyurappa has been to the jail and facing various charges. Don’t you have any charges against you”, he asked.
“Conduct investigation into the Shivarama Karantha layout irregularities and people would know about it. There is no need to threaten me. I know how many sites the Deve Gowda family has in Mysuru. I will disclose everything with documents”, he said.
“Neither the power nor the CM position is Permanent. In our five years administration, we have not done vindictive politics against anybody. But you people have been creating confusion among people”, he said.
“Clarify on the allegations made by former minister A. Manju against your family. In future, people would know everything. Till now, I have not spoken anything about D.K Shivakumar. Even then, he has given statement against me. There is no connection with the ED registering case against D.K Shivakumar and myself. I don’t have any role in it. It is not difficult for Shivakumar to come out of that case. Let him come out of it”, Yeddyurappa said.

Beijing (PTI): China, for the first time, has confirmed that it provided on-site technical support to Pakistan during the four-day conflict with India last year, official media reports here said.
China's state broadcaster CCTV on Thursday aired an interview with Zhang Heng, an engineer from the Aviation Industry Corporation of China's (AVIC) Chengdu Aircraft Design and Research Institute, a key developer of China’s advanced fighter aircraft and unmanned aerial vehicle design.
Zhang had provided technical support to Pakistan during the four-day war last May, Hong Kong-based South China Morning Post reported, quoting CCTV.
Pakistan's air force operates a fleet of Chinese-made J-10CE jets, produced by an AVIC subsidiary.
"At the support base, we frequently heard the roar of fighter jets taking off and the constant wail of air-raid sirens. By late morning, in May, the temperature was already approaching 50 degrees Celsius (122 degrees Fahrenheit). It was a real ordeal for us, both mentally and physically,” Zhang said.
What drove his team was the "desire to do an even better job with on site support” and to ensure their equipment could “truly perform at its full combat potential”, Zhang told CCTV.
“That wasn’t just a recognition of the J10CE; it was also a testament to the deep bond we formed through working side by side, day in and day out,” he said.
