Bengaluru, September 21: Objecting to the statement of BJP state president B.S Yeddyurappa indirectly, BJP MLC Lehar Singh said that “It is not fair to drag the central government and PM Modi for everything. Using the name of the Prime Minister for our small goals, tarnishing his image and exhibiting that the centre would take revenge is not a good development”.

“It is my opinion that the party has never given power to use the name of the Prime Minister or the central institutions to hound the opposition parties. Those who violate the law will have to face the consequences as per the law of the land and it is not on the whims and fancies of any person. It is our duty to keep intact the concentration of the leadership at a time when the Lok Sabha election is fast approaching. In Goa, the party has been facing lot of problems. Along with this, the BJP has to face elections in Madhya Pradesh, Rajasthan, Chhattisgarh and Telangana states, he wrote in his letter.
