Bengaluru: Janata Dal (Secular) [JDS] officially expelled CM Ibrahim, the former state president, from the party during a party executive meeting held at JP Bhavan in Bengaluru under the leadership of JDS national president HD Deve Gowda.
The expulsion comes in the wake of Ibrahim's public statements against the party, HD Deve Gowda, and former Chief Minister HD Kumaraswamy, following the formal announcement of the BJP-JDS alliance for the upcoming Lok Sabha elections.
