New Delhi: Controversial actress Kangana Ranaut on Sunday took a cue at farmers protesting in Punjab against the Agri-marketing bills passed in Rajya Sabha, and termed them as “the same terrorists who protested against the CAA”.
Replying to a tweet by Prime Minister, Narendra Modi, the actress wrote “These are the same terrorists who indulged in bloodshed even as no citizen lost citizenship due to CAA” she was addressing the Prime Minister in her reply.
After the bills were passed in Rajya Sabha, the PM posted four tweets in English, Hindi and Punjabi to reassure the farmers. As strongest protests are coming from Punjab, and BJP’s alliance partner Shiromani Akali Dal has even walked out of the Union cabinet over the issue, Modi made it a point to tweet in Punjabi too.
Kangana picked up one of the PM’s Hindi tweets which reassured the farmers on MSP, “I said it earlier and I say it once again: System of MSP will remain. Government procurement will continue. We are here to serve our farmers. We will do everything possible to support them and ensure a better life for their coming generations.”
Later, replying to a report on Twitter about describing protesting farmers as "Terrorists" Kangana wrote "People who spread misinformation and rumours about CAA that caused riots are the same people who are now spreading misinformations about Farmers bill and causing terror in the nation, they are terrorists. You very well know what I said but simply like to spread misinformation" she was replying to a news story carried by Times of India.

New Delhi (PTI): The Rajya Sabha on Monday witnessed a walkout by several opposition parties over BJP member K Laxman's remarks that OBC reservation is being misused in the name of religion.
Leader of the House and Union Minister J P Nadda criticised the walkout, saying the Congress leadership and the opposition's INDIA alliance are neither interested in debates nor have any respect for democratic values or the Constitution.
During Zero Hour, Laxman raised the issue of OBC reservation, and said their quota is being misused in the name of religion.
He said some states are extending reservations to Muslims and requested the government to order a comprehensive review of such religion-based reservations.
While he was speaking, certain opposition members raised objections to Laxman's remarks.
Later, almost the entire opposition staged a walkout from the House.
Nadda said the opposition parties are disrespectful to the Constitution and do not respect the parliamentary procedures.
He further said opposition parties consider Muslims as a vote bank, while accusing them of engaging in appeasement politics.
