Shivamogga: In a tragic accident an 18-year-old girl was electrocuted after she accidentally touched a water motor on Monday morning here. The incident took place at Tallikote village in Badravathi Taluk here.

The deceased girl has been identified as Bindu (18). According to the reports, Bindu in the morning was trying to connect the water motor when she was electrocuted. Hearing her calls for help, Bindu’s grandmother and mother immediately disconnected the power and took her to the hospital where was declared brought dead.

Bindu was a student of the second PUC at the Government College in Shivamogga. Her mother is an ASHA worker.
