Bengaluru: K.N. Rajanna, Cabinet Minister for Cooperation of Karnataka state, has submitted his resignation from the ministerial position.
On August 11, he met Chief Minister Siddaramaiah at Vidhana Soudha and handed over his resignation letter. Reports indicate that the decision was taken following directions from the Congress high command.
Earlier, K.N. Rajanna had questioned opposition leader Rahul Gandhi’s claims of voter fraud, stating, “Voter fraud occurred during the Lok Sabha elections. However, the voter list was prepared when the Congress government was in power. Why did everyone remain silent then?”
