Wayanad: In the wake of the devastating landslide and ongoing rescue operations in Wayanad's Mundakkai, Karnataka Chief Minister Siddaramaiah expressed his deep sorrow over the catastrophic floods and extended his heartfelt condolences to the affected families.
Chief Minister Siddaramaiah stated, "Deeply saddened by the catastrophic floods in Wayanad. My heart goes out to the affected families. Karnataka is committed to providing all possible help to Kerala in this challenging time. Let's stand united and strong."
This message of solidarity comes as Tamil Nadu Chief Minister MK Stalin has already announced a compensation of Rs. 5 crore and is sending a team of medical professionals and rescue personnel to assist Kerala. Karnataka's support adds to the regional efforts to aid those impacted by this disaster.

Riyadh: The United States Embassy in Saudi Arabia has advised American citizens to reconsider travel to the country, including participation in the annual Hajj pilgrimage, amid the ongoing regional conflict.
In a travel advisory, the embassy urged US nationals to exercise caution and review their plans in light of the current security situation.
It specifically advised Americans to reconsider “participation in Hajj this year” to the holy city of Mecca.
