Bengaluru: Karnataka Chief Minister Basavaraj Bommai on Saturday faced flak from the opposition Congress party over Arvind Limbavali’s video that has gone viral wherein he is seen verbally abusing a woman.

The Congress took a strong stance against the video and questioned if such behavior by his legislator was acceptable to CM Bommai.

In the video, Arvind Limbavali can be seen verbally abusing a woman when she put across her woes.

Tweeting on the issue, the Congress leaders also asked CM Bommai, “Is your MLA’s behavior acceptable to you?”

The party leaders said that the MLA’s contempt towards a citizen who faced problems reflected BJP’s anti-citizen stand and heights of the party’s arrogance. “Treating citizens with contempt does not wash off your shabbiness,” the Congressmen added.
