Bengaluru: With the political turmoil going in the state after resignation of 14 MLAs of Cong-JD(S) coalition government Governor Vajubhai Vala is likely to impose President’s rule in the state.
With no party enjoying majority to win the vote of confidence in the assembly the governor will mostly impose president’s rule in the state.
Earlier in 2007, President’s rule was last imposed in the country. Interestingly, Kumaraswamy himself was the CM of the state then but was in coalition with the BJP and had refused to hand over the reins of power to his then deputy B S Yeddyurappa after which the BJP withdrew support from the coalition.

Dubai (AP): Israeli Defence Minister Israel Katz said that attacks against Iran will “increase significantly” in the coming week.
Katz spoke on Saturday, hours after US President Donald Trump said he was considering “winding down” military operations in the Mideast.
“This week, the intensity of the attacks that the IDF and the US military will carry out against the Iranian terrorist regime and against the infrastructures on which it relies will increase significantly,” Katz said in a video statement.
