Bengaluru: Karnataka High Court on Tuesday adjourned the hearing in the Hijab case till tomorrow, without passing any interim order.
Justice Dixit who is hearing the case added that the hearing will resume at 2:30 pm on Wednesday.
“I will continue tomorrow. All can argue. But make sure that the arguments do not go on till the end of the academic year. Everyone on record will be permitted, subject to no duplication. Keep it short.” He added.

Raichur: In an incident reported from Lingasugur taluk, a doctor, identified as Ramesh Jadhav, allegedly committed suicide by consuming a poisonous substance on the outskirts of Mudgal town.
The deceased, who hailed from Kushtagi in Koppal district, was found in a distressed state, and it is suspected that familial issues may have led to the tragedy. However, the exact reason behind his death remains unconfirmed.
According to sources, the doctor is believed to have taken the extreme step due to tensions arising from personal problems. Despite the suspicion of suicide, no formal police case has been registered yet regarding the incident.
