Karnataka: Here's how MLA Zameer Ahmed reacted to ED raids at his office, house
Bengaluru: Reacting to the Enforcement Department raids that were carried out at his office and house on Thursday, MLA and former Minister Zameer Ahmed Khan stated that the action by the agency was prompted by complaints made by his political rivals.
“I have not done anything against the law. I constructed my house with hard-earned money. During the raid, I provided all the information sought by the ED. They did not ask me anything about the IMA scam. If needed I will co-operate with the authorities in their probe” adding that he was relieved after the raid.
He added that he was not served any notice by the ED and that the construction of his house was completely transparent and he had nothing to hide.
“The ED has obtained the details of the financial transaction from the Bank which I took for the construction of the house. They raided my houses and found nothing” he said.

Kasaragod: ICYM, CKYM Kayyar to host ‘Kalotsav-2025’ on January 11-12
Kasaragod: The Indian Catholic Youth Movement (ICYM) Kasaragod Deanery, in collaboration with the Christ King Youth Movement (CKYM) Kayyar, is all set to host the highly anticipated cultural and arts festival, Kalotsav-2025. The event will take place at Christ the King Church grounds in Kayyar on January 11 and 12.
According to a release from CKYM Kayyar, the festival will commence at 2:00 PM on Saturday, January 11, and will continue on Sunday, January 12, from 11:00 AM until 10:30 PM.
Kalotsav-2025 promises a spectacular celebration of creativity, entertainment, and community engagement, with an array of cultural performances, family entertainment activities, exciting games with prizes, and a variety of competitions. Featured events include face painting, stand-up comedy, bottle painting, singing, dance, and more.
All Konkani speaking people from across 16 parishes under the Kasaragod Deanery will participate in the festivities, making it a grand showcase of talent and unity.
