Bengaluru: Hours after CM Yediyurappa on Wednesday morning announced the list of new ministers who will be inducted in the state cabinet, voices of dissent surfaced against him from within his party with several ministerial berth aspirants expressing their disappointment on being left out from the cabinet expansion.

Expressing his anguish, MLC H Vishwanath said “God will not bless Yediyurappa. He has failed to live up to his promises. I can’t understand why Yogeshwar has been included in the cabinet. It looks like he knows Yediyurappa’s secrets”.

Bommanahalli MLA M Satish Reddy also questioned the criteria through which new ministers were added to the cabinet. He also questioned Yediyurappa if he or his national leaders cannot see loyal party workers while shortlisting the names of the new ministers in the cabinet.

Another senior party leader Renukacharya also expressed his displeasure about the developments and said he was unhappy with the manner in which new ministers were chosen and finalised.
