Madikeri: In the wake of the vote-counting process that is currently underway to determine the Vidhana Parishad election results for the 25 positions in 20 constituencies, BJP Candidate Suja Kushalappa secured victory at the Kodagu Vidhana Parishad constituency. 

Suja Kushalappa has reportedly won with a margin of 105 votes against his competition, Manthar Gowda. The Congress Candidate Dr. Manthar Gowda had received 603 votes, it is learned. 

A total of 1224 votes have been recorded in Kodagu, out of which 17 votes were classified as invalid. 

The JDS candidate in this constituency had reportedly withdrawn his nomination at the last minute.

Former Minister H.D. Revanna’s son Dr. Suraj Revanna has received 2247 votes and won the elections with a margin of more than a thousand votes. 

The Congress candidate A. Shanker has secured 727 votes here while the BJP’s  AJ. N Vishwanath has received 374 votes, it is learned.

Bengaluru: The Karnataka Examinations Authority has released the syllabus for the Common Entrance Test (CET) to be conducted in 2025 for admission to professional courses including engineering, on its website https://cetonline.karnataka.gov.in/kea/.

Executive Director of KEA, H. Prasanna on Saturday issued a notification, advising students to use the syllabus for Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, and Biology from both First and Second PUC as outlined on the portal.

"This syllabus has been prepared based on the NCRTC syllabus and the textbooks published by the School Education, PUE Department," the announcement read. Furthermore, H. Prasanna explained that it has also been reviewed by subject experts from PU colleges.
